Lens three — your environment
The environment around you
A Vastu consultation looks at the space you live or work in — layout, orientation, entrances, and how activity is placed within it — through traditional Vastu principles, with recommendations you can implement without tearing walls down.
What it explores
What a session looks at
Layout & orientation
The plan of the space against the cardinal directions: entrances, room placement, and flow of movement.
Use of rooms
Whether activities — sleeping, cooking, working, meeting — sit in the parts of the space that best support them.
Functionality first
Traditional principles applied alongside practical considerations: light, ventilation, storage and daily routine.
New or existing spaces
Property you're evaluating, a home you're moving into, an office being fitted out — or the space you're already in.
Inside a consultation
How the work is actually structured
01
Floor-plan review
Your plan, with a north indication, is studied before the session.
02
Assessment
The layout is assessed zone by zone against Vastu principles and practical use.
03
Consultation
Online from the plan, or on site — walking the space where practical.
04
Prioritised guidance
Written recommendations, ordered by impact and effort — placement and usage first, construction only if genuinely warranted.
What you provide
What we'll need from you
A consultation is only as good as the material it's based on. You'll receive precise instructions after booking — here's the short version.
- A floor plan with a north indication (hand-drawn is workable)
- Approximate measurements and current room usage
- Photos of the main areas, for online consultations
- Your specific concerns about the space
Common questions
Vastu FAQ
Do you need a floor plan?
A floor plan with a north indication is ideal. If you don't have one, a hand-drawn layout with approximate measurements and orientation is usually workable.
Can you consult on an existing property?
Yes. Most consultations are for existing homes and offices, and recommendations are made within the constraints of the space as it is.
Do you recommend structural changes?
Only when genuinely warranted, and never as a first resort. Most guidance concerns layout, placement, usage of rooms and orientation of activity — changes you can make without renovation.
Can suggestions be implemented without major renovation?
In the large majority of cases, yes. The goal is a space that works better for you, not a construction project.
